It's a contest app for iPhone and iPad

Welcome to Its a Contest. The app with which you can actively challenge your friends. Its a Contest is a ranking system for friends, clubs, like-minded people etc who want to compete in a sport or in any other measurable fashion.

Lets take tennis as an example:
A group for friends regularly play tennis. They create a contest for their group. Every time they play, they enter the results of the match. Using a ranking system, the app determines a ranking of the participants. The ranking is updated every time new results are entered. This allows all participants to see how theyre ranked and allows them to see the results of the played games.

We offer four different ranking systems so that you can pick the optimal mode for your contest.

Clubranking: The perfect mode for riveting duels in tennis, badminton, ping pong etc. In this mode you can advance in the rankings by defeating higher ranked players.

Score/Time: The perfect mode for a series of contests during which the results are added to form a grand total. If youre setting up a contest which consists of several stages as in, for example, a golf tournament or a cycling race with multiple stages, this mode is for you.

Ranking: The perfect mode for a series of contests. A participant earns points in one of the contests depending on his performance. The points earned in all contests are summed up to form a grand total. Ideal for sports such as a ski world cup, or various types of motor sports.

Highscore: The perfect mode to set the bar. The only thing that matters is the best score. E.g. 100m dash, number of push-ups in 1 minute.

With this system you can create your own contest. We already offer a broad selection of the most common sports.
